Where does human life begin? "Dot, dot, comma, line, and there's your moon face." My first drawing lessons were given to me by my mother, so she also taught me these words and signs. This mantra is a basic formula of collective iconography. Optically, there are balls and ball connections, graphically, there are circular areas. In Nonose and the Weeping One there is a given grid: diagonal arrangement of balls, piled on top of each other like beer barrels. With the clown, the right-angled layering and a displacement of the nose are added. The sense of smell is followed by face recognition. Present anthropomorphic abbreviations prove to be immediately readable for all age groups from all over the world. In technical terms, they show how people have always cooked with water. Their inspiration comes from childish play and its continuous insistence until today. (Anton Bruhin, 2 July 2015).
